In September of 2024, little Greyson was born prematurely at 27 weeks, due to his mother being diagnosed with severe preeclampsia (pregnancy-induced high blood pressure).

At birth, Greyson weighed 1lb, 14 oz, and was 14” long.

Greyson has suffered two grade 4 brain hemorrhages and is battling a serious lung condition called bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), which requires him to remain on a ventilator.

Greyson has been in the NICU since birth and will likely need to stay for a while longer. His parents, Brooklynn & Isaac are holding onto hope that they’ll be able to bring him home in time for Christmas.

While this experience has been very challenging in every way, Brooklynn and Isaac are drawing strength from the care and kindness of people in their community.

Both 2024 graduates from Redmond High School, Brooklynn & Isaac are thankful to have their former school jump at the opportunity to adopt Greyson as their new Sparrow for the 2024-2025 school year.

Greyson will be adopted as a Sparrow to Redmond High School. RHS students will work hard to earn money for Greyson through sponsored community service, supporting him and cheering this young family on as they continue to navigate Greyson’s medical journey.
